Water for Peace is our signature annual event bringing Canadians together to learn, connect and act on the water crisis at home and abroad. With over one billion people faced with dire water shortages worldwide, water conflicts, human suffering, and forced migrations are on the rise and will continue if not contained with innovative and collective efforts. The water crisis requires concerted action driven by local and sustainable solutions.
On June 2, 2018, we made history with the first annual Water for Peace event in Toronto, Canada. The event brought together the world's foremost humanitarians, peace activists, environmental champions and industry leaders for an inspiring night of celebration and learning. We packed the room full with 250+ proud and engaged Canadians who stand tall for their beliefs, and we left committed to addressing water challenges in Canada and around the world. Our deepest gratitude to all those who made this inaugural event such a success.
