Jangwon Park

co-director, technology

As Co-Director of Technology, Jangwon oversees researching and assembling the right sustainable technologies for the Rainmaker Enterprise. Jangwon received his BASc in Engineering Science from the University of Toronto where he specialized in operations research and optimization, and is currently pursuing his Masters in engineering. Jangwon is passionate about the practice of optimal and data-driven decision making in various contexts including through social enterprises. To this end, he is currently engaged in research with Doctors Without Borders/Médecins Sans Frontières to forecast decay of drinking water quality and improve water security at refugee camps in Tanzania. Jangwon brings his analytical abilities to the strategic technological development of The Rainmaker Enterprise’s projects.
